The reap functionality appears to have been accidentally disabled by commit 74ded7257e5da5e309844d386290f24ae91950a6 to iptables.git, see: git://git.netfilter.org/iptables.git and subsequently in iptables 1.4.15 and later. This adds a patch to restore reap functionality for recent_opts_v1. This makes it possible to use swconfig to controll the switch. This was tested with devices using b43 and bgmac. This was not tested on devices using tg3.
